This was a bit of a concept album about two people Victor (Victorious) and Vicky.
They appear in quite a few
songs previous to the V & V Album they are on the song "Trailer Park Riot" a song from the
"Trailer Park Riots" album and the Victor & Victoria Album directly follows on from the song, "Vicky's
Refrain" from the "Daddys Got A Brand New Trailer" Album which also contains other songs about V & V.
Its
all meant to be a bit tongue in cheek, but with quite a dark and dangerous edge to the story, exploring the characters
themselves and how they can commit savage acts, but still need a hug sometimes LOL.
Victor arrived in the USA under very shady
circumstances from somewhere in Eastern Europe (It is believed) a murderous psychopath, he teamed up with Vicky a young girl
raised in a trailer park to wreak havoc upon an unsuspecting public.
Vicky was besoted with Victor and vice versa, Victor
enjoyed the blood and the kill where Vicky liked the excitement and the money and the love of her man. Victor cared about
nothing other than Vicky it appears.
The foolish but harmless Simpson, taken in by Vicky and eventually terminated by Victor,
Vickys mother who drowned her children and then herself, Mr Lover Vickys dealer who Victor finally caught up with and much
more exciting events unfold in this "Trailer Park Opera" set in and around Happy Valley Park.
You can hear it all here.
V & V Album Notes.
These songs pick up from some of my last offerings, which ended with “Vicky’s Refrain”
where Vicky was in hospital and “Saw the light so to speak”
Happy Valley
Homes/Park = is the trailer park they lived on
The River Of Broken Dreams – the River by the trailer
park where Vicky’s little sister/brother died (In Trailer Park Riots) and her mother subsequently committed suicide

More Info on the Albums I have put together.
Over the years I switched from
an Analogue set up i.e a Portastudio Multitrack to a digital set up. All this really means is that I stopped playing every
instrument laboriously myself and recording it to tape and switched to connecting directly to a Computer using multitrack
software to record. This also meant I could reduce the mundane playing of everything to get by with a little digital help
from some virtual band members...via software. This allowed me to increase my output
substantially giving me the option to concentrate on producing songs.
Being
a one man band, I like the option to be able to produce a song quickly and move on. Although
I have been writing since the 2nd half of the 1970's, my major output came in the 1990's up until today when
I was and am still able to produce songs at a quicker rate. Writing songs has never
been a problem, just the tedium of the recording process etc as described above. The process of writing a song and putting
a melody to it and listening to the finished product has always been the buzz for me.
Here are just some of the albums I produced since moving from analogue to a digital set up some time around
the early 1990's.In order of creation.
